In a recent interview with podcaster Sage Steele, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said there should be no regulation on abortion.
"I wouldn't leave it to the states," he said. "We should leave it to the woman. We shouldn't have government involved … even if it's full-term."
Laura Echevvaria of the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) points out that a full-term baby in the womb is and has been a completely functioning human being.
"Four weeks old has a beating heart, and we know that; science supports that fact," she tells AFN. "It's always astonishing to see how vehement that the pro-abortion groups and their supporters like RFK Jr. or Joe Biden or Kamala Harris … are in their support of unlimited abortion up until the moment of birth."
Though Kennedy claims that he "may not support late-term abortions personally," LifeNews.com indicates that this interview makes it clear that his political policy would allow late-term abortions with no limits.
So, if someone were to vote for Kennedy on that basis, it would be the same as voting for Joe Biden; both support a death sentence for a fully developed child in the womb.
In the past, Donald Trump has said that he "hate[ed] the concept of abortion … and everything it stands for" but noted that he was "pro-choice in every respect."
More recently, he declined to endorse a national abortion ban and said he believes the issue should be left to the states.
