Pointing out that some radical Muslims have been elected to represent the people, the leader of a Messianic Jewish ministry isn't surprised by the anti-Semitism in Congress.

When Isaac Herzog addresses Congress tonight, he will only be the second Israeli president ever to do so. His speech will commemorate Israel's 75th year of independence.

But President Herzog's visit comes amidst Democratic attacks against the Jewish state.

Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-Washington), chair of the far-Left 100-member Congressional Progressive Caucus, recently sparked outrage by calling Israel a "racist state" -- though she later claimed that she was criticizing Israel's government, not its existence as a country.

Representative Hakeem Jeffries (New York), the House's Democratic leader, has also been critical of the visit, and anti-Israel Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) came under fire in May for calling Israel an apartheid state.

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries) Markell

"Today's Left is, quite frankly, in love with Islam," says Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries. "They couldn't care less about the only free democratic state in the entire Middle East, Israel … and they have a love affair with all things Islamic."

Making note of Reps. Tlaib and Ilhan Omar (Minnesota), Markell points out that elections have consequences.

"When we elect people who don't worship the God of Israel, be they Christian or Jew, then there's going to be a problem, and we're seeing that manifest," she tells AFN. "My question is will God allow this much longer? I really have to wonder."

Several Democrats say they plan to boycott President Herzog's address.
