During remarks just after he arrived at Ben Gurion Airport, in Tel Aviv, Biden made several gaffes including stating the “honor of the Holocaust,” when he meant to say “horror of the Holocausts.” The president corrected himself moments later.
Jan Markell, who leads Olive Tree Ministries, says another troubling remark was Biden vowing to fight the “poison of anti-Semitism wherever it raises its ugly head.”
President Biden, she says, should start with his own political party.
One example of anti-Jewish hatred is Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Somali-born congresswoman who is perhaps most famous for her “some people did something” reference to the 9/11 terrorist attack.
Markell knows the congresswoman because Minnesota’s 5th congressional district is near her home.
“And you talk about corruption, and just plain evil, that's going on as a result of some of her antics,” Markell told American Family Radio. “And one of the worse is her blatant hatred for all things Israel and the Jewish people."
God’s warning in Genesis 12:3 should be taken seriously when it states God will judge the allies and the enemies of Israel, the Bible scholar warns, because Biden is representing the U.S. and thus responsible for how our country treats Israel.
Biden pressed about human rights
On the same trip to Israel this week, Biden was asked at a press conference if he planned to address human rights when he landed in Saudi Arabia.
"I have never been quiet," Biden replied, "about talking about human rights."
Jonathan Dingler, of China Aid, tells AFN that Biden was quite quiet about China's horrific human-rights abuses when the president talked to China's communist president last year. That phone call lasted three hours.
"And there was just a small mention in the press readout that [Biden] talked about human rights," Dingler tells AFN.
