Looking back at the last year, a political analyst says Joe Biden's rhetoric doesn't match his accomplishments.

In a news conference on Wednesday, President Joe Biden praised his own efforts during his first year in office, taking credit for improving unemployment rates and economic growth and saying his administration has done a "remarkable" job in fighting the pandemic.

But considering a recent Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research poll that shows 56% of Americans disapprove of how Biden is doing his job and that only 28% of Americans want him to run for reelection in 2024, including only 48% of Democrats, Biden's assessment does not match that of the American people's.

Rob Chambers, vice president of AFA Action, says "Pinocchio" is alive and well at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"Biden's Pinocchio factor is really increasing," Chambers submits. "When he was campaigning, he said, 'I'm not going to mandate any vaccines.' He said that. What does he do? He turns around and issues vaccine mandates."

Chambers also makes note of the Supreme Court decision that shot down Biden's mandate for businesses; he does not see how the president can consider that a success.

"Lying to the people, going back on his promises -- those are not successes," the AFA Action spokesman asserts. "Those are failures."

He also says the polls are accurate.

"It is impossible for President Biden to spin his failures in a way that communicates success to the rank-and-file American, including Democrats," Chambers concludes.
