Active-duty personnel and civilian employees are being asked by the Department of Defense to participate in what it calls an anonymous “at-will questionnaire” that will be used to “assess the degree to which the DOD workforce feels it is capable of executing its mission in the context of a changing climate,” a Fox News story reported this week.
Although the U.S. armed forces exists to fight and win wars, the Biden administration has declared war on “white supremacy” and personal pronouns. A year ago this month, the Pentagon said climate change – specifically warming temperatures and changing weather patterns – are a national security issue, too.
Elaine Donnelly, who leads the Center for Military Readiness, says she was struck, first of all, by the invasion of privacy in the questionnaire. A second issue, she says, is the purpose behind the survey, which is surely another left-wing effort to indoctrinate military members.
After all, the Pentagon’s top generals have an approved view about man-made climate change just like the U.S. military's approved views on Critical Race Theory and white privilege, and using “they/them” pronouns.
“Everything woke gets tried out or advanced in the armed forces,” Donnelly says, “and people in the military really aren't free to dissent."
Bob Maginnis, a national security expert at the Family Research Council, tells AFN he's "not surprised in the least" over the climate change survey. China's soldiers are required to read the writings of their president, Xi, he says, and this doesn't seem to be much different.
"If we're going to celebrate woke and equity and white supremacists - you name it," Maginnis says, "then this is part of the climate of the Biden administration."
