According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there has been a recent uptick in COVID-19 patients. As of this moment, the CDC advises older Americans and other high-risk groups to consider wearing an N95 mask.
Though the agency has stopped short of making a broad recommendation for everyone, Twila Brase, RN and president/co-founder of the Citizens' Council for Health Freedom, says things could change in the months ahead, especially if hospitalizations become a concern.
"The masks are a charade," she responds. "I can't help but wonder if this is just a continual drumbeat for keeping the public under control and in fear and willing to comply with whatever the CDC's next step is, which is probably just trying to get them to take the COVID shot."
As for the COVID shots, the Biden administration maintains they are safe and effective against the spread of the virus, but Brase thinks the numbers tell a different story.
"People who have had the COVID shot are more likely to get COVID again and again," the nurse relays. "This has nothing to do with the masks; it has to do probably with what the COVID shot has done to their immunity."
All things considered, Brase urges people to "get your early treatment kit prepared … to give yourself the antivirals that are necessary," including ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.
"Have a doctor that you know that can prescribe them," Brase says. "The mask is not preparation; the mask is just subjugation."
Misinformation's still running amok
KFF, the self-described "independent source for health policy research, polling, and journalism" formerly known as the Kaiser Family Foundation, has released its recent findings that show, among other things, that a third (33%) of U.S. adults believe COVID-19 vaccines have caused thousands of sudden deaths in otherwise healthy people.
KFF portrays that 33% as conspiracy theorists, but Brase submits that the organization impeaches its own witness with its own statistics.
"They're using the FDA, the CDC, The New York Times, and then they themselves say that only 19% trust the FDA, only 24% trust the CDC, 18% trust CNN, and 20% trust The New York Times," she notices.
So she gathers that a good percentage of the American people know the score.
"Part of the American public will say sources like this, like Kaiser Family Foundation, they are doing the misinformation," the health freedom advocate submits.
Even so, in its reporting on the poll, The Hill runs with the usual disclaimers about vaccine doubts being false and refuted. It even trots out the discredited "parasitic deworming medication" trope when talking about ivermectin.
"They're continuing to say the party line, as it were -- the political 'misinformation' line," Brase notes. "But the fact of the matter is that ivermectin is safe and effective for humans."
Meanwhile, the Biden administration recently sunk another $1.4 billion into a new COVID shot. But with or without future mandates, Brase doubts they will be able to sell the $8 billion of it that they expect to sell.
