Since children are least likely to be impacted at all by the virus, Twila Brase, RN and president/co-founder of Citizens' Council for Health Freedom, says the interesting thing about the decision from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) panel is "how unnecessary it was to even look at the issue."
"To expose them to the dangers of the vaccine is not very wise," she adds.
Brase notes a recent study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that shows 75% of children and teens had COVID by February.
"So the idea of taking all our youngest children, or most of our youngest children, and exposing them to the dangers, the side effects of a vaccine, when they are unlikely to be harmed by the virus and they have probably already had the virus, seems to me to be just a push to totally vaccinate the entire population," reasons Brase.
Officials at FDA, CDC, and other branches of the government maintain that COVID shots are safe and will help combat the spread of the virus.
"It is as though the government has decided that all of us have to be vaccinated no matter what the risks are from the vaccine or from the virus itself," Brase observes. "The agenda seems to be simply be total comprehensive vaccination for all."
She calls that approach unwise, harmful, and nonsensical.
