A large car company and a nationwide clothing retailer are helping to fund the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network in their scheme to put gay-friendly books in as many classrooms as possible.

Automaker Kia and retailer T.J. Maxx are listed as co-sponsors of a GLSEN program that clandestinely puts books on homosexuality and transgenderism into elementary classrooms.

GLSEN was founded in 1990 by a group of teachers. It works to increase “inclusive” school environments for LGBTQ-plus students by conducting research and providing resources, its website states.

Linda Harvey of Mission: America explains how the sneaky program works.

"So, what they've done is a sneaky little end run around school libraries and public libraries in sending little collections of books directly to teachers who are sympathetic to their agenda. That's what the Rainbow Library is, and that's how they bypass the oversight of parents in the school library and in the online book collections."

She says GLSEN resorts to the unethical practice of mailing these books to teachers who don't ask for them, and they'll keep doing so as long as their funded.

"So, we need to cut off the serpent's head by cutting off the funds. Tell Kia, tell TJ Maxx, you do not want to shop with them, you're not going to purchase their merchandise."

The Daily Caller News Foundation reports that neither T.J. Maxx nor Kia responded to its requests for comment.
