The Campus Reform analysis of The Harvard Crimson shows that of the 44 articles examined between April 2018 and May of this year, 92% had a negative slant against Israel. 47% referred to Israel as an "apartheid" state.
"It just confirms the notion that [the] anti-Israel climate is just mounting and mounting and mounting," responds Naya Lekht, director of education for Club Z. "The question is what do we do about it?"
Lekht points out that hiring diversity, equity, and inclusion officers -- as Harvard has done -- significantly adds to the problem.
"Another study done by The Heritage Foundation found that they hold bias against Israel themselves," she explains. "They're there to put safeguards in place on college campuses so that their people won't be biased against minorities."
Campus Reform also reports The Crimson editorial board in April declared itself pro-Palestine, supporting the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) Movement.
