Mary Elizabeth Castle, senior policy advisor for Texas Values, says a recent investigation proves the National School Boards Association (NSBA) colluded with the Biden administration to accuse outspoken parents of being "domestic terrorists."
While she is pleased with this development, she says there is still much to be done.
"TASB is still promoting a lot of liberal policies, so I think they still feel like they have the power to promote their agenda," Castle reports. "That's why there's still work to be done."
She says many elected officials in the state actually believe TASB, a nongovernmental body established to serve local school boards, is itself no longer necessary.
"I think everyone is starting to become more aware of who TASB really is and that, for the most part, we don't need TASB anymore," she says.
According to LifeSiteNews, the Texas association is the 23rd state association to sever ties with the NSBA.
