Be on the lookout for this laughable logic

A cultural analyst says the reason a primary school in the U.K. has given for canceling its Easter festivities doesn't make sense.

In its letter to parents, the Norwood Primary School in Eastleigh, Hampshire, reportedly says the annual Easter Bonnet Parade and Easter Service have been canceled to promote inclusivity and ensure the school honors diverse beliefs.

Janice Crouse says she laughed when she read that.

"You show respect by canceling it? They went to such lengths to say they respected the holiday, and because of that, they were canceling," she summarizes. "The logic doesn't follow here at all."

The Christian Post points out that the decision to cancel Easter events contradicts the school's own policy on celebrating religious festivals, as important religious and cultural occasions, including Eid, Diwali, Christmas, and Easter, are typically "marked and celebrated together."

Headteacher Stephanie Mander acknowledged that this cancelation would disappoint some families, but she noted her appreciation for their "understanding and support as we make this transition."

"One of the ways we will be celebrating inclusivity is by taking part in Refugee Week, which occurs in June, as well as beginning our journey to become an accredited School of Sanctuary," reads her letter, which was criticized when it was shared in a local Facebook group.

Refugee Week is a festival of arts and crafts celebrated worldwide.

Crouse says parents in the U.S. need to be on the lookout for leftists and atheists to pick up on this.

"If we are not on our guard, that same thing is going to happen here in the United States," she warns. "Indeed, in many instances there're moves in that direction in school districts in very liberal areas."
