On Friday, less than a week after the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to stop its offensive against Rafah.
South Africa reportedly asked for the order, claiming that the Israelis are committing genocide in Gaza. Israel, however, which has not wavered on its commitment to destroy Hamas but has so far refrained from a full-scale military invasion of the terrorist group's last stronghold because it is housing thousands of refugees, is ignoring the mandate.
Dr. Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas says the order is the latest antisemitic move from the broader international community.
"The International Criminal Court and the United Nations are nothing but a front for Hamas," he summarizes. "I think Israel is right to ignore what this pseudo … kangaroo court is mandating."
The pastor points out that "Israel has every right to defend itself."
"I believe they need to keep bombing, they need to keep moving forward until Hamas is completely destroyed," he tells AFN.
Meanwhile, Israel is becoming increasingly isolated.
As the Biden administration caters to the far-Left, pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party and withholds military aid, a Jewish comedian and social media influencer has confirmed the suspicion that most U.S. college students caught up in the fiery anti-Israel protests on their campuses do not understand what they are fighting for.
Offering $100 to anyone who answered his questions correctly, Zach Sage Fox first asked students, who admitted to having chanted "from the river to the sea," "Which river? Which sea?"
No one knew it refers to the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
"What does Hamas say their number-one goal is, according to their charter?" he posed next.
The polled were shocked to learn that it is "to murder all Jews around the world" and not to free Palestine. And when they found out that chiming in for "intifada revolution" meant they were contributing to the global call to murder Jews, one student said she would "probably not" say that again.
Finally, the students were surprised to learn that "Zionism" is not hate for Palestinians or the belief that Judaism is the highest race, but simply that the Jewish people are entitled to having their own homeland and protecting themselves from another Holocaust.
"You don't even have to be Jewish," Fox pointed out. "That makes you a Zionist."
He told Fox News, "I don't think we gave out a single hundred dollar bill the entire time. I mean, no one knew anything."
Jeffress says the U.S. is woefully shortsighted.
"We're always trying to fix problems, but the fact is, this problem is 4,000 years old, if not longer," the pastor submits.
He says it will only be solved when the Prince of Peace, the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ returns to establish His Kingdom.
