Trump, on X, posted that Cuban was “very wrong,” and lashed out at him as “a fool" and a "MAJOR LOSER."
“All strong women, and women in general, should be very angry about this weak man's statement," Trump's post read.
Fox News quoted the Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt who called the comment "insulting."
"This is extremely insulting to the thousands of women who work for President Trump, and the tens of millions of women who are voting for him," Leavitt said. "These women are mothers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, and they are, indeed, strong and intelligent, despite what Mark Cuban and Kamala Harris say."
Cuban attempted to apologize on X early Friday morning if female Trump supporters felt "slighted or upset" by his remark.
