Women learning terrible lesson about abortion pill 'safer than Tylenol'

Women learning terrible lesson about abortion pill 'safer than Tylenol'

Many women who are taking the abortion pill to end an unwanted pregnancy are learning they were lied to about its side affects and the tiny human expelled into the toilet.

Thanks to the reach of social media, women are sharing their traumatic experiences when they take the two-step abortion pills, mifepristone and misoprostol. The first pill ends the pregnancy by blocking progesterone to thin the uterine lining. The second pill causes contractions to expel the fetus.

In a heartbreaking post, shared by pro-life activist Lila Rose, a woman who was seven weeks pregnant describes the small sac she expelled that was “mostly clear-white, with a dark red spot in the middle, that was very, very clearly contracting like a heartbeat." It beat for 30-45 seconds, she wrote, “then nothing and that literally shattered me.”

Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, tells AFN women are learning the abortion industry is lying to them about the “safe” abortion pill that has been described as safe – or even safer – than taking a Tylenol.

“They want women to just swallow the pill and assume they can go on with their lives,” Tobias says. “It doesn't work that way. The pills are painful. The women are seeing sometimes the body of the unborn child that is expelled.”

It may seem doubtful anyone would compare taking over-the-counter Tylenol for body aches to a prescription-only pill that triggers contractions, but that is indeed the dubious marketing pitch made by abortion supporters. That claim has been made by Sen. Dick Durbin, and by Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, among others.

“This ruling is an important one in affirming access to medication abortion, which is safer than Tylenol,” Healey, reacting to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling about mifepristone last year, told reporters.

Joanne Carducci, a grassroots Democrat activist, also made that false claim recently on her popular X account “Jo.”

In a related story about the abortion pill, LifeSiteNews says more women are choosing the privacy of the at-home abortion pill rather than visiting an abortion clinic for the life-ending procedure. Whereas abortion clinic staff are trained to hide the dead fetus from women, the story said, taking the two-step abortion pills at home is showing women the grim reality of what they have done.

On its website, Planned Parenthood advises women about the “large blood clots” or “clumps of tissue” that are expelled after taking the second pill.

“You may not see it when it comes out, especially if you’re less than 8 weeks pregnant,” the website also warns.

Tobias has a warning for women, too, to avoid the physical pain from misoprostol and, later, the emotional and psychological pain from what you’ve done.

"Please don't do it,” she says. “This is your baby you're talking about.”
