Abigail Spanberger, who retired from the U.S. House of Representatives in January, is the Democratic candidate for the governor of Virginia.
Jeff Katz is a conservative talk radio personality in Richmond. He told AFN that Spanberger will move to make Virginia a forced-unionism state and get rid of the right-to-work law that Katz said has benefited Virginia for years.
"She would move to have abortion on demand right up until the moment that a baby is born. The last Democrat governor, Ralph Northam, talked about killing babies after they were born, and Abigail Spanberger is right there on that," adds Katz.
Katz used to refer to the actions by Northam as “The War of Northam Aggression,” a pun involving what some southerners have historically called The Civil War as The War of Northern Aggression.
"Spanberger would move further to get rid of petroleum vehicles in Virginia. She's very much in favor of electric vehicles (EVs). The Democrats would once again try to tie Virginia to a California-set of standards for vehicles," says Katz.

Katz also does not rule out an increase in the minimum wage for Virginia.
"It would be based, in large part, on living expenses in northern Virginia, which really doesn’t connect with the rest of the state," says Katz. "On the flip side of this, I've heard from a number of business owners that you would see a huge outflux, a huge exit, of businesses from Virginia."
Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears is the Republican candidate for governor. While polls have tightened as of late, Spanberger has been leading the race for weeks.
Election Day is November 4th, and early voting is underway.
