The new disclosures include the previously sealed testimony of an FBI informant who had worked on the Democratic side of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for more than a decade.
According to the informant, soon after Trump's surprising 2016 election win, Schiff, a House member at the time, created a plan to weaponize U.S. intelligence against Trump and present him in the media as a Kremlin conspirator.
People close to Comey and Schiff fed reporters false information to advance the Russiagate hoax during Trump's first presidency. Schiff then led the House impeachment inquiry and served as the lead impeachment manager during the first Senate impeachment trial of President Trump.
That misinformation scored Pulitzer Prizes for Ellen Nakashima of The Washington Post and Michael Schmidt of The New York Times.
Though heavily redacted, the documents reveal what Real Clear Investigations calls "a cascade of misdeeds and failures."
Gary Bauer of American Values thinks it is one of the biggest scandals in U.S. history.

"The level of corruption that we suspected, but now we know for certain that people like Adam Schiff and others were engaged in literally an attempt to take down a duly elected president," he summarizes.
Despite the overwhelming evidence, Comey and Schiff are getting a pass from the mainstream media.
"Any attempt to hold them accountable the major media is describing as some sort of personal vendetta by President Trump against his detractors," Bauer reports.
Though he finds their actions treasonous, he knows it is extremely hard to convict elected officials of a crime. The Senate could take action against now-California Senator Schiff, but that would take some political will from Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-South Dakota).
"There are all sorts of impediments and complications that will make it hard to get a conviction," the conservative tells AFN. "It takes a lot to get the senator to move."
Still, he hopes Sen. Thune "soon realizes the moment we are in" and puts aside any frustrated hopes of returning to normal politics anytime soon.
Schiff, who also served as a member of the partisan January 6th Select Committee, has denied all of the allegations against him.
