Task force report shows areas of anti-Christian bias in government

A task force at the Department of Justice (DOJ) says it has found numerous instances of anti-Christian government bias under President Joe Biden.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is part of the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias. The DOJ’s Office of Public Affairs states that it was formed in the spring of 2025 and began meeting in April. The task force recently released a report that shows anti-Christian bias in the government.

Examples include the denial of religious exemptions for COVID-19 mandates to major fines for schools such as Liberty University and Grand Canyon University, reports Fox News.

Christian perspectives were also omitted from a Customs and Border directive for detainees; however, such things like religious accommodations, dietary restrictions, and access to religious texts from other faiths were included or allowed.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration arrested and convicted around 24 people for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act while doing nothing to "protect places of worship and crisis pregnancy centers."

President Donald Trump spoke at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. to bring attention to the task force’s report and to speak about the anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration. This is pretty ironic since Biden professes himself as a Catholic and is the second Catholic president in U.S. history.

Hamilton, Abraham (AFA attorney) Hamilton

American Family Association (AFA) General Counsel Abraham Hamilton III did not hold back his thoughts on the Biden administration's actions.

"It's un-American, anti-American, and frankly, illegal," Hamilton told AFN. "We have this thing called the First Amendment that protects people of religious convictions."

A new administration may be in charge, but Hamilton recommended people stay alert and speak out when necessary.

"If the government happens to be populated by people who we voted for, we have – I would argue – an additional responsibility of making sure that they adhere to the Constitution, that they function legally, and if they stray or they err, that we speak vocally about that as well," said Hamilton. "We do no favors to people who we might have supported by all of a sudden just co-signing everything they do, because this a government of the people, by the people, for the people."
