The viral video footage from last weekend shows a group of people savagely assaulting two others during a confrontation, with a woman being knocked out cold in the street. It is clear that the perpetrators were black, and the victims were white.
Tom Zawistowski, president of the Ohio-based We the People Convention, thinks it was racially motivated.
AFN previously reported that three suspects have been arrested, and the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have launched a federal probe. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon has indicated federal hate crime charges may be expected.

"This is a result of the systematic breakdown of our society that was intentional by the Democrats and the communist Left," Zawistowski submits. "What's appalling is that no one intervened to stop it, and then they didn't call 9-1-1 to get the police," he says of the attack.
While the Left claims racism is systemic, that it is not simply individual prejudice or isolated acts of discrimination but is deeply embedded in the systems, institutions, and structures of society, Zawistowski says this incident is systemic to what the Left has brought to American cities.
"If you're being told for the last 20 years, starting with Barack Obama, that the white people were out to get you and you should defend yourself against them, and they're the reason your life is horrible not Democratic policies in your cities, then what else would you expect," he reasons.
He believes the rule of law should be enforced. Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge has assured the city that "there is no room for politics in law enforcement," and she is working to get the lawlessness under control.
