Trump Derangement Syndrome is reaching new lows, as some Democrats, mainstream media outlets, and internet influencers are blaming President Trump for the deaths cause by the floods in Texas.
With over 100 people confirmed dead and many more unaccounted for, the flooding in relation to the rise in the Guadalupe River in Texas Hill County over the 4th of July continues to have devastating effects.
News Anchors, like ABC's George Stephanopoulos and CNN's Dana Bash, and Democrat politicians, like Chuck Schumer and Julian Castro, have been suggesting, despite ample evidence to the contrary, that President Trump's DOGE cuts are somehow responsible for the hundreds of deaths in the Texas Hill Country over the weekend. They claim that the cuts hindered the National Weather Service's ability to warn of the coming disaster.
Hollywood celebrities like Rosie O'Donnell and TikTok influencers are almost giddy that this, to them, is a loss for Donald Trump.
“If you would have just voted for Kamala, those kids in Texas and all those families in the RV's would more than likely still be alive. People were screaming at you that if he was voted in people were going to die and look where we are,” one TikToker states, shown on a post by Libs of TikTok on Instagram.

Tim Graham of Media Research Center says most of the coverage, at least in the beginning, was fairly straightforward.
“This is a breaking news story, so a lot of the news is just, 'here's what we know, here's how fast the floodwaters came in’,” Graham explains.
Evidence has come out that proves the blame toward President Trump and the DOGE cuts are unfounded. The National Weather Service released a timeline showing numerous, timely warnings before the flooding began, and the DOGE budget cuts are not taking effect until October 1st.
Graham says that information is starting to check off some of the lies.
“They're wheeling it back a little bit, and part of it is this idea that the Weather Service did put out all the warnings that they could,” says Graham.
But Graham says that this is the evidence of evil in the world.
“It is pretty gross to revel in the idea that young girls died, and it's okay because they're the daughters of Trump voters. That's perverse,” Graham states.
