Liberal news media ignores declassified records of 2016 Russian hoax

U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, pictured during a CNN segment, was on cable news constantly alleging he had evidence Donald Trump had been caught colluding with Russia.

A bombshell report from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that outlined a conspiracy to destroy the first Trump presidency that started at the very top of the US government was met with silence from the mainstream media.

On Friday, Tulsi Gabbard declassified and released some records that show President Barack Obama directing his senior staff to ignore intelligence reports that showed Russia was not interfering in the 2016 election and craft a plan using knowingly false claims of the opposite, to try to bring down the first Donald Trump presidency.

Houck, Curtis (MRC) Houck

Curtis Houck of Media Research Center says Gabbard and her staff brought the receipts.

“The way that they're able to lay it out with their graphics and the pull quotes from the intelligence reports that they declassified, I just think it was masterful,” Houck says.

In addition to Houck, a radio host and public policy analyst thinks the Trump Justice Department should pursue criminal investigation into the allegations that Obama manufactured intelligence to create the 2016 Russian election interference narrative.

Jenna Ellis hosts Jenna Ellis in the Morning on American Family Radio.

"There's no question in my mind that this intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered be published, which contained a manufactured intelligence document, it's worse than even politicization of intelligence,” states Ellis.

She says that this manufactured intelligence sought to achieve Obama and his team's objective, which was undermining President Trump's presidency and subverting the will of the American people.

"I think this is a test of our two-tiered system of justice, and whether Republicans and specifically the Trump administration through the Department of Justice, is really seeking justice over politics,” Ellis continues. “And so, if we simply demand and ask that the Justice Department follows the evidence where it leads, then that's the best mechanism of accountability that we should hope for."

Ellis believes Gabbard's claims must be investigated.

"When there is clear and convincing evidence that Tulsi Gabbard is supposedly releasing this week and when she says that there is evidence of – she called it treason – against the United States and against an incoming president, then how can we continue to make that claim?" Ellis asks.

But the mainstream media was having none of it. CBS was one of the only networks to even mention the scandal, and they brought on Democrat Jim Himes of Connecticut to shoot the evidence down.

“What you saw from the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, was not just a lie, but a very dangerous lie. The mouth breathers on MAGA online are just going out of their minds based on a lie,” Himes responded.

Houck says MSNBC also took a couple seconds to badmouth the report.

“The liberal media have resorted when they do talk about it – like MSNBC did last night – just throw around the word "baseless" to try and suggest that there's nothing there” Houck explains.

He says part of the problem is that the mainstream news outlets were complicit in the Russian collusion hoax, and the Gabbard accusations are a bit awkward.

“These people will not return their Pulitzers. They are not feeling any sort of pressure or shame to correct any number of stories,” Houck concludes.
