Speaking to American Family Radio, Jamie Sanchez, who is the founder of Recycle God's Love, began by describing his ministry that serves homeless men and women in Denver, Colorado.
"We do hot food, we have tons of clothing and hygiene and blankets, and we do haircuts for people. And then, obviously, we're sitting down, we're praying with them. Every single table has a volunteer who's sitting with them, praying with them, getting to know their story, just ministering to them,’ Sanchez says.
Recycle God’s Love began in 2012 when Sanchez and his family wanted to give back to those not as fortunate as themselves. What began with making 20 sandwiches for the homeless grew into a ministry with multiple volunteers, supporters, and events. In 2023, they opened The Drip Café as a way to provide jobs, interview skills, resume building, and more to the homeless community.
After describing some of the spiritual warfare his ministry has faced, particularly with the opening of the Drip Café, Sanchez explained how his team has countered demonic hostility.

"We have these crazy people spitting on our windows, chalking on our windows, like they're screaming we ‘hate you, you're terrible’…then you shift your focus to the inside of the café and there's just…Spirit pouring out worshipping, people crying, people pouring out their spirit to God…just worship… We're praying, and we're praying for them outside, and we're praying for each other, and we're surrendering things,” expresses Sanchez.
Sanchez also offered advice to those in the midst of spiritual warfare.
"Give up yourself and be about Christ, and be in the Scripture, and seek wise counsel. Continually be in the Scripture, continually be in prayer. The more you get to know who He is, the more you get to know what He wants of you,” he concludes.
