Both myocarditis and pericarditis are types of inflammation that directly affect the heart. Myocarditis affects a muscle in the middle of the heart wall, while pericarditis affects the outer sac enclosing the heart.
The evidence that the Covid-19 vaccine causes this inflammation is becoming overwhelming and undeniable. Study after study links the vaccine to myocarditis and pericarditis, and the FDA, which is now part of the Trump administration, has mandated labels on the shots warning as much, specifically to people up to age 64.
This is a step up from previously when the Center for Disease Control and Prevention stood by the claim that the vaccines did not cause myocarditis or pericarditis. The new labels are brought about by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s work to restrict vaccine use.
Now, the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines Comirnaty from Pfizer and Spikevax from Moderna will provide information regarding incidences of myocarditis and pericarditis and safety information regarding adverse reactions.

Dr. Peter McCullough, the world's leading researcher into Covid-19 vaccine injuries, says it's not enough.
“That warning falls far short of reality. I see people in my practice, both men and women, with myocarditis well into their 70s," McCullough says.
The FDA says the infection rate is around 8 cases per million. McCullough says that number is way off as well.
“It's a gross underestimate. What they've done is they've taken the number of spontaneously reported cases, which is well known to be grossly under reported, and they divided it by all the number of vaccine doses. The rate of myocarditis is about 2.5% per shot," McCullough explains.
And he says the warning label doesn't list death as a potential side effect. McCullough says the warning label is not just wrong, it's useless.
“It's not going to do a whole lot. In fact, I think it's just hand waving for what is a very serious problem. There's more than enough evidence to pull these vaccines off the market.”
