In the episode, "The Things You Lost Along the Way," two of the characters break into a Catholic church, snack on stolen communion wafers, and are kissing when a priest finds them and kicks them out.
Josh Mercer of CatholicVote says the way the show portrayed blasphemy in such a casual manor was deeply offensive.

"All people of all faiths can understand this scene is offensive because you're breaking into a church, you're making light of religious practices, you're making out in the pews," he says. "Everything is done very profanely."
But it is especially insulting to Catholics, who treat communion wafers with a special reverence.
"We Catholics consider this to be the body of Christ," Mercer explains. "Hollywood knows it. We know it. Everyone knows that's what Catholics think, and you're going to dip it in jelly and eat it like it's a snack?"
He has written a letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook demanding the episode be taken down and asking for a meeting to discuss how Apple "can foster true diversity and tolerance by ensuring its content is respectful of the religious practices of Catholics."
At the very least, Mercer says this scene, which is nonessential to the show's plot, should be eliminated.
