The Israeli leader faced an almost empty General Assembly hall as he delivered his address. He chastised those who boycotted his speech for supporting the barbarians who perpetrated the massacre of Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023. He also made it clear that Israel will not allow the creation of a Palestinian terrorist state within its borders.
"What you're doing is giving the ultimate reward to intolerant fanatics who perpetrated and supported the October 7th massacre. Giving the Palestinians a state one mile from Jerusalem after October 7th is like giving al Qaeda a state one mile from New York City after September 11th,” stated Netanyahu. “This is sheer madness. It's insane, and we won't do it."
As AFN reported previously, a majority of United Nation member are in support of a two-state solution to end the war in Gaza, including Great Britain, France, Canada, Australia, and Belgium. The U.S., Israel, and several others are against the formation of a Palestine state.

Gary Bauer is president of American Values and has served on the board of Christians United for Israel. He points out that the Palestinians themselves don't want a two-state solution.
"When you ask the people in Gaza whether they want a two-state solution, the nation of Israel and a nation called Palestine, they overwhelmingly say, ‘No, we want a one-state solution. We want to state where Palestinian Muslims are the majority and Israeli jews will have to live as a minority in the nation we will run’,” says Bauer.
Bauer indicates that, if a one-state solution with Palestine where to happen, it would be a disaster.
“Well, how do you think that would turn out? You would see another Holocaust,” states Bauer.
