New poll reveals Americans falling for Qatar propaganda, says former congresswoman

Former Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann says a new poll confirms that billions of dollars of anti-Israel propaganda is clearly working.

According to a newly released AP-NORC survey, 49% of Americans believe Israel's military action in Gaza is excessive, and about as many think that negotiating a permanent ceasefire should be an important goal for U.S. foreign policy. The shift in American opinion about Israel's military actions, reports the AP, comes as the Jewish state begins an expanded ground offensive on Gaza City to try to completely destroy Hama.

Former Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann now serves as dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University.

"The American people have been subject to an unprecedented propaganda campaign by the nation of Qatar, which is the number one chief state funder of terrorism in the world. Qatar has been documented to have spent over $100 billion, with a ‘B.’ A $100 billion advancing propaganda, false information about Israel," says Bachmann.

Bachmann stresses that the information they're telling the American people isn't true.

"We have a report from the United Kingdom, no less, that revealed that this is not genocide what Israel is doing. Only phony groups that are made-up of jihadist sympathizers are stating that Israel's committing genocide. Israel is not committing genocide,” states Bachmann.

In fact, at least two Israelis are dead after an attack at the Jordanian border, reports the New York Post. The driver of a humanitarian aid truck headed to the Gaza Strip through the border killed these two Israeli soldiers while attempting to enter Israel. The Isreal Defense Forces (IDF) neutralized the terrorist.

Dexter Van Zile is the managing editor of Focus on Western Islamism (FWI). He says that he is not surprised that Islamic forces are using humanitarian aid in some way to attack Israel.

“None of this suffering would have taken place if that attack on October 7th haven't taken place, and these aid trucks would not have had to even come in from Jordan,” states Zile.

Furthermore, he says that the root of all this misery is because of the hostility towards Israel and the Jews, and Gazans are suffering because of attacks perpetrated by Hamas.

“There are significant numbers of people in the region who have chosen destroying Israel and demonizing and subjugating news as their transcendent purpose, and this transcendent purpose trumps everything. It even trumps an honest attempt to help the people living in Gaza,” states Zile.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the conflict will continue until Hamas is eliminated and the remaining hostages are released from captivity.
