Glick: The West is buying ‘deliberate lies’ of Hamas’ propaganda machine

An advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel says the world is buying into the deliberate lies of terrorists regarding the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

As reported previously by AFN, purported images of malnourished children have provoked a strong international response against Israel. Even the White House has weighed in, calling for Israel to do more to get aid to people in Gaza. Now the United Kingdom is threatening to join France in recognizing a Palestinian State.

Caroline Glick is International Affairs Advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She was a recent guest on the Washington Watch program on American Family Radio. She says the world is buying into terrorist propaganda.

"I think it's pretty amazing that the international community, the Western media, the places that we all go to find out facts, have been presenting Hamas's lies as fact really since, in some cases, since October 7th and in many, many cases since shortly after October 7th. Everything that Hamas has been putting out of Gaza, and they control the information flow out of Gaza, have been deliberate lies."

Israeli officials are hitting back.

The deputy ambassador to Australia, Amir Meron, called reports of starving children in Gaza part of a “false campaign” orchestrated by Hamas.

Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Avichay Adraee shared footage of Hamas fighters in underground tunnels enjoying food—arguing this contradicted starvation claims and suggested poverty was being staged.

Glick says the aid in Gaza has been taken by Hamas, which is getting a lot of use from the generosity of other nations.

Hamas “first of all uses it to supply its terrorists and second of all sells the aid that is supposed to be distributed for free to the people of Gaza at jacked up prices and uses the money, A, in order to pay its terrorists, B, in order to mobilize new terrorists, particularly young children, to serve as terrorists in its terror army,” Glick said. Then Hamas will “steal the money from the people of Gaza who are then forced to pay for aid that the international community donated to the people of Gaza to be distributed free of charge."
