Time to do something different than what’s been done in Gaza ‘for the last 30 years,’ Bauer says

A conservative activist is convinced that President Donald Trump is right about the need of taking a bold step in dealing with the future of Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that it can no longer be business as usual with the terrorist group Hamas.

The Israeli leader is angry over the despicable act of the terrorists parading the caskets of slain hostages while Gaza residents cheered.

The Hamas propaganda treatment of the bodies of Shiri Bibas and her toddler sons (shown at right) has changed everything, Middle East expert Joel Rosenberg said on American Family Radio this week.

As it's done with every other hostage it has released during this temporary ceasefire, Hamas used the boys – their dead bodies lying in caskets – as propaganda, parading them on stage before armed terrorists and crowds chanting the rhetoric of a hateful message.

Hamas also didn’t immediately release the body of Shiri Babas, instead substituting the body of a dead Palestinian woman.

A spokesman for Netanyahu said, "These outrageous displays of propaganda cannot be allowed to pass." The Israeli leader then decided to delay the scheduled release of roughly 600 terrorist prisoners.

Gary Bauer is Chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, who has served on the Board of Christians United for Israel.  He believes Trump's suggestion of depopulating Gaza is on the mark.

When reality doesn't matter

"He was actually really hitting on a reality, and that is the indoctrination of the population of Gaza even after everything we've seen, solid majorities of the people in Gaza support the attack on Israel on October 7th."

Bauer says reality doesn't seem to matter to them.

"I think if there was another election held in Gaza, Hamas would win again. So, we've got to do something different than we've been doing in the last 30 years. And if anybody can do that, it would be Trump and Netanyahu working together."
