In once-deep red Texas, Muslims are building a master-planned Islamic community innocently called The Meadow, equipped with mosques, Islamic schools, Muslim compliant restaurants and more.
The development was formerly called Epic City.
The 402-acre development, located in unincorporated areas of Collin and Hunt counties near Josephine, was originally envisioned to include over 1,000 homes.
The project remains in the preliminary planning stages, with Community Capital Partners (CCP) stating the new name better describes the property's current state as a meadow and emphasizes an inclusive, family-centered, mixed-use community.
Gary Bauer of American Values says it's the most overt of a strong Islamic push into the Lone Star State.

In fact, Imams across America are saying the quiet part out loud.
“The future is ours,” one says. “Every nightmare of a Muslim Europe will come true. They can be as mad as they want. I don't care. America will be a Muslim country.”
Bauer calls it jihad by immigration, and it was green-lit by George W. Bush when he opened wide the border to Muslims following the 9/11 terror attack.
“The United States, under recent presidents until President Trump, has made no attempt during the immigration process to determine whether the people we are bringing in are filled with hatred for Christians and Jews,” Bauer said.
He says several European countries may already be beyond saving while others are frantically trying to get Muslim immigrants to go home. And the way our politics are going, we're not far behind.
“There is a real danger of Marxists and radical Islamists taking over large swaths of America,” Bauer said.
