Sitting in her late husband’s seat on "The Charlie Kirk Show," Erika Kirk said the Turning Point USA founder had shared a growth plan for Turning Point, one that looked beyond 2030, with key leaders. The organization has those “blueprints" for the future, she said, which she compared to “march orders” going forward.
“We are just remaining humble and grateful to God, and remaining stewards to what God has blessed us with,” she said. “I know the Lord will continue to guide us.”
Kirk, 31, was shot and killed Sept. 10 during a Turning Point USA event at Utah State University. His widow was named president to Turning Point by its board of directors.
After the murder of its founder, Turning Point reported 62,000 requests have poured in to start a new chapter or join one that already exists. Those numbers will greatly expand the organization that says it has about 900 chapters on college and university campuses, and 1,200 high chapters.
Erika Kirk also shared the organization has a lot of unused material no one has ever heard.
"We have Sunday specials lined up to the brim,” she shared, “because my husband was so intentional about making sure that there was enough content."
