More than 400 pro-Palestinian protestors were arrested outside Parliament on Saturday after getting violent with police, reports the AP. The mob gathered to support a group known as Palestine Action, which has been deemed a terrorist organization and banned by the government.
A British police official said, "In carrying out their duties today, our officers have been punched, kicked, spat on, and had objects thrown at them by protesters." She called the abuse directed at police "intolerable."
The majority of those taken into custody were arrested under the Terrorism Act, with several of them arrested for assault on officers or public order offenses. Over 700 people were arrested at previous protests.
Gary Bauer is chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, who has served on the board of Christians United for Israel. He says this is what is happening in European countries that have accepted and continue to accept a tidal wave of migrants from Muslim countries.
"And these migrant populations, growing by leaps and bounds, are intimidating the governments of Western Europe. With citizens of Western Europe not having enough babies even to keep their population from falling, they're slowly dying out,” explains Bauers. “If trends continue they're going to allow a great civilization to be swallowed up by a civilization that will bring nothing but pain and suffering with it."
Bauer says retired British Army Colonel and terrorism expert Richard Kemp recently issued a warning.
"He believes that England has passed the point of no return and that it will be almost impossible to avoid a civil war, and it's over Muslim migration. That's the bottom line. If there's enough fight left in England and Europe to make a last-ditch effort to save their countries – that would actually be a terrible thing in reality – but it would have a silver lining that western civilization did not go down without a fight."
