In a bid to advertise its “bottomless appetizers,” the restaurant chain signed up Kendall Washington and Kaylor Martin from “Love Island USA,” a date-themed reality show.
The ad’s gag, which appears at the end, is that Washington and Martin are supposedly nude from the waist down according to the blurred images of them. Martin also appears to utter the F-bomb at the end of the ad.
The ad caught the attention of One Million Moms, the parental advocacy group. It is urging the public to sign its online petition to Buffalo Wild Wings, which asks the corporation to pull the ad.
“We are asking that they cancel it or we will not be able to visit their restaurants any longer in good conscience,” Cole, OMM director, tells AFN.
The online petition has passed 10,500 signatures.
Buffalo Wild Wings, headquartered in Atlanta, says it has more than 1,300 locations.
