Laurie Higgins of Breakthrough Ideas recently had a week’s worth of interactions with staff at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. It was a very challenging time and not because of her grandchild’s health.
“They are making hospital stays for many parents, even more stressful than they already are. My granddaughter was at Lurie for six days. It was (an) incredibly stressful time."

That’s because nearly every staff member, nurse and administrator who entered the room was wearing a pin or insignia that affirmed the LGBTQ lifestyle.
The hospital’s craft room included LGBTQ crafts and reading material.
Higgins called the medical care “excellent” but complained the hospital showed a complete lack of respect for Christians, Jews and Muslims who might have been there with their sick children.
“Make no mistake, they have taken a moral position, which I would argue is not the role of Lurie administrators, board members, staff members to be taking, on homosexuality and cross-dressing and trying to promote one set of assumptions over another set of assumptions."
Hospitals in the U.S. and abroad are backing away from gender-manipulation treatments and procedures, Higgins noted, Lurie Children’s Hospital is doubling down on its Leftist agenda.
“Lurie is digging in its kinky boot heels when it comes to hormonal malfeasance and propaganda,” she said.
