Cudahy Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez is calling in the "cholos" from 18th Street and the Florencia 13 gang to help the rioters fight ICE agents who are carrying out legal deportation orders.
"Now that your hood's being invaded by the biggest gang there is, there ain't a peep out of you," she jabbed on social media. "It's everyone else who's not about the gang life that's out there protesting and speaking up."
Ganzalez told the thugs that if they stay out of this fight with ICE, then they can just shut up when it comes to claiming gang territory.
"Where you at? Whoever's in leadership over there, get your members in order," she said.
Even for someone as seasoned as The Wounded Blue's Randy Sutton, the city leader's words are shocking.
"Basically calling them cowards for not banding together and fighting the federal government; she's calling for violence," he summarizes. "She's calling for the gangs to literally rebel against the federal government."
He thinks that should be enough to trigger a recall.
"This person needs to be removed from office," says Sutton.
Gonzales has since deleted the video from TikTok, but it continues to circulate online.
She is reportedly under federal investigation.
