A conservative activist wants to "Make Marriage Great Again."

As culture "every year tries to beat you over the head with 'Pride'" in the month of June, Cole Muzio of Frontline says the body of Christ needs to reject that and show what godly, biblical marriage looks like in our lives.

"From a policy perspective also, we align our laws with what God's Word is and what marriage is supposed to be," says Muzio. "I think the Church falls down on that front."

He believes the Church came together in the 1970s after Roe v. Wade was decided and set its sights on overturning the abortion ruling.

"The Church needs to do the same with Obergefell," says Muzio, referring to the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage.

Frontline, he tells AFN, is "committed" to helping Make Marriage Great Again through four key strategies:

  • Genuine Discipleship: Equipping leaders and pastors to shepherd the culture
  • Leading Public Policy: Advocating for laws that honor God's design
  • Impactful Training: Preparing Christians to be salt and light in a fallen world
  • Engaging in Elections: Supporting leaders who share a biblical vision

"It will take time to achieve ultimate victory," Muzio recognizes. "It's taken time on life. We're still not there yet. It will take time on marriage."

He says all of these strategies have to be employed in this long-term battle in order to have a final victory.
